Abstract:
A 2-day hands-on course designed for comprehensive training of researchers in techniques essential to performing successful IHC staining of human and animal tissues. This course will provide the knowledge base and techniques required for the researchers to perform IHC in a short time, with ease and confidence, and with minimal troubleshooting. The course will address all aspects and components of IHC relevant to research IHC. This course is aimed at training researchers and research histologists in manual staining of both human and animal tissues by the latest available techniques and technologies.
This is a wet lab course and is limited to only 20 attendees for maximum attention. Register early!

Proper deparaffinization and tissue preparation for IHC staining

Pre-treatment and Blocking steps

Selection of appropriate Primary antibodies for human and animal tissue staining

Serial dilution techniques for appropriate dilution of primary antibodies

Titration of concentrate polyclonal and monoclonal primary antibodies for IHC staining

Selection of appropriate staining reagents for human and animal tissues

Stain Enhancement techniques for weak stains

Hands-on IHC staining of human tissues

Hands-on IHC staining of animal tissues

Hands-on IHC staining of mouse-on- mouse ( mouse primary anytibody-on-mouse tissue)

Exploration negative and positive controls

Background eradication
-
Counterstaining
-
Mounting and preservation of stained slides
-
Microscopic examination of stained slides.
